Your Best 8k

Virtually Crazy is a fun and relaxed 8k that takes you on a tour of the best parts of your hometown. Run on the sidewalks and through neighborhoods where some of the fastest runners have set records as you strive for you own goals.

Your Community

This race is a celebration of what makes your community strong! You, your running team, your friend who’s never run in their life–we’re thrilled to have you! And every person who joins us in this run is taking strides to help us help each other. Virtually Crazy benefits our local communities, our local heroes and our local survivors. We’ve committed that every dollar raised will directly benefit non-profits, local businesses and individuals in need.

July 2020

The race starts when the clock ticks over to midnight, July 1st. You’ll have until 11:59 on July 31st to finish the race (how’s that for letting you pace yourself). Only your best time counts, so pull out your Strava or Garmin connected device (or your fitness app/device of choice) and get out and run!

Your Hometown

Choose from one of our recommended courses on a relatively flat and scenic route or share your favorite route. You are welcome to complete the 8k anywhere you’d like–as long as you are practicing appropriate safety and social distancing. We’ll collect the results electronically from your Strava or Garmin app to determine the grand prize winners.

Run for a Change

The impact of the COVID-19 virus are felt at every level of our community. Many people feel powerless to make a difference. By participating in the Virtually Crazy race this year, you not only make a difference in your own life by setting goals and achieving them–you also have the power to help others.

During the registration process, each race participant is invited to make a small donation. During the lead-up to the race, runners will be able to nominate and vote for local charities, businesses and individuals who would benefit from a small cash grant. No matter how big or small your own donation, together we can make a difference.
